He's working his family's ranch together with his brother, and he's certain city girl Whitney will leave soon, seeing as she doesn't have a clue what she's doing. Only problem is, Whitney and her little girls sneak their way into his heart.A heartwarming Christian story, written with a lot of humour and compassion, this will captivate any reader. The characters are sympathetic (Nate comes over as a pushover a bit, though), and quite realistic in their actions and interactions with each other. The growing attraction between Nate and Whitney (and the misunderstandings) made me smile, and groan, and hoping.The "side characters" as well are well developed and have a surprising depth (with enough hints about their own problems promising some more lovely books about the Triple C Ranch in the future!).In short, I loved this book and cannot wait to get my hands on the other books in this series.
